I went to Nola's last week because I was long overdue for a haircut. They were able to take me with only about a half-hour's notice, which I really appreciated.
Medina was my stylist. I showed her a few photos of what I wanted and she seemed to know exactly what I was going for. She had a lot of fun with my cut and I felt very comfortable trusting her. She gave me an incredible blow-out that looked amazing.
I've had my cut for a week now and I've enjoyed playing with it -- it looks beautiful when I let it dry naturally (lots of body) and it also great when I blow-dry it straight and give it a little bit more styling. It's an awesome haircut and I'm so glad I found Nola's and Medina.
I really recommend this place. It's great for the price (it's about what I've paid in DC salons, but this place has the bonus of being right in Arlington). I will be back. -- Eden M.

I love love love Nola's. Medina is an amazing stylist there. I have been going to her for 2 years now. When I first went, I had been jumping around to stylists and none of them really knew what to do with my hair, so it just kept getting shorter and my drab.
My hair after two years is long and curly. (Who knew I had natural curl if I would just let my hair grow out??!!) She does amazing color and sits down with you before appointments to have you look through her color book of clients and then tells you what color she will do on you, and what will work the best for your life style, based on how much you are indoors, in the sun, etc.
She kept bugging me to do eyelash extensions and I finally agreed. I'm addicted. She refills them once a month and I never to wear makeup except lip gloss. They look like mascara and eyeliner in one. Amazing.
I've referred about 8 friends to her and they all use her too. Also, Nolas is fantastic in itself. Coffee and boscotti in the mornings and wine and champagne in the afternoons.
OH! And importantly Medina will not keep you there all day long. You make an apt to look fabulous and she will make you look fabulous and keep the apt short....no double bookings w/other clients in your time spot. -- Jessica L.

I love Nolas. It's reasonably priced, which is saying a lot for Clarendon and it's a beautiful salon with a relaxing environment. I go to Jeana and she is great. I have very curly hair and she knows what to do with it. I went last Friday afternoon and she cut my hair while I sipped a glass of red wine and messed around on the internet (they offer you wine, coffee, etc. and have laptops for their customers to use). -- Alison S.
